Thanks to my husband’s career I had the privilege to live in three different countries, which also gave me the opportunity to furnish three different homes, in three completely different styles.
It really fascinates me how different cultures all have their own style and their own preferred color scheme if it comes to interior design. It fascinates me how you, at first try to find furniture and home decoration that you are familiar with, and how you get more and more open to the style of the country you’re in along the way.
And that’s exactly the phase I am in. Working with elements, colors and idea’s that I like and translate them to my personal taste.
Today I was inspired by a birthday invitation my daughter received. A zebra printed invitation with neon pink. A strong color combination they really love here.
And you know what? They are absolutely right about that!
