How to mix prints – part 2

The mixing and matching of prints has become such a widespread, long lasting trend, and one that always keeps catching my eye, that I decided to find some simple tips and tricks to pull this off ourselves. I am pretty sure that with a little help we can all become true mix masters!

I guess the easiest way to make it work is to use successful ‘known’ pattern combinations like leopard and Breton stripes (or leopard with camouflage), floral prints and snake or stripes and polka dots.

Just keep in mind that the more different the patterns are, the easier they are to mix and match. And pairing these proven pattern combinations will definitely help you to ease into mixing and matching slowly.

But if you ready for the next step and ready to start mixing and matching floral patterns and colors, I’d suggest to go with opposite colors and patterns to create a strong interesting contrast. I am sure the pictures above will give you plenty of inspiration for some color clashing bold statements.

Make yourself seen this Spring!
