Just like the silver statement necklaces I wrote about in an earlier post (see my blog post silver statement necklaces), the gorgeous bold chain necklace is another great fashion accessory in this category!
My absolute favorite is the Celine ID tag necklace, as shown above, that sits around the neck with a ID tag centerpiece. A quite expensive one but you will find several great alternatives on the web. Check out online stores like Asos for an affordable alternative or stores like Neiman Marcus for a more expensive one.
When chosen and worn correctly a necklace like this, dresses up any simple dress or shirt. Let the necklace make the statement by keeping the rest of your look as simple as possible. Just choose a solid, or graphic tee (high,- and round-necked shirts will both work perfectly) for a day in town, finished with a leather jacket or tailored blazer, or wear it with your favorite black dress for a night out.
